Why is a reflective address sign needed?
The Reflective Address Sign Program provides high quality reflective signs that have been approved by CAL FIRE San Diego County and the North County Fire District. Reflective address signs work day or night to clearly display your home address. In addition to helping locate properties that are not visible from the road, these reflective signs are visible in smoky, foggy, and other low visibility situations allowing first responders to orient themselves in your neighborhood and find your location quickly in an emergency.
Address Signs are available to Fallbrook, Bonsall, DeLuz and Rainbow residents for a cost of $25 which includes a post and mounting hardware.
Proper Sign Postage
- Signs should be visible for 100 feet in both directions of a road.
- Be sure your signs are posted at a height that headlights will illuminate the sign.
- Signs should be posted near the entrance of a driveway.
- Don’t post signs where it can be blocked by tree limbs or bushes.
- Keep signs uncovered throughout the year. Be sure to pull weeds and remove debris.

How will I receive my sign?
You will be notified when your sign is ready and can be picked up at our storage facility in Fallbrook. We will send you an email providing pick up details for your sign once it has has arrived.
Your the sign will be given to you pre-assembled and you will receive printed instructions for NCFPD approved placement.
We Do Not mail signs.
What does the sign look like?
What are signs made of?
Signs are 6″ x 24″ x .063 gauge aluminum, pre-drilled with 1/4″ diameter holes one inch in from each corner (4″ apart on the short side). The surface is covered with reflective green vinyl, not painted, which will not fade. The aluminum is heavy enough that the sign can be mounted from one end, like a flag, and you don’t have to worry about it sagging or bending.
When will my sign be ready for pickup?
Once we have received your check or confirmed your payment via Zelle, we will order your sign. You can expect to receive your sign within 4 to 6 weeks from the time the order is placed
How many numbers can my sign have?
The standard sign with 4inch numbers has maximum of 5 numbers, but we can special order signs with 6 numbers/letters.
